Staff Accountant

Hosack Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & HVAC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team in O'Fallon, MO . Responsibilities Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts. Prepare accurate financial reports and assist with financial analysis. Process accounts payable and support accounts receivable activities as needed. Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies. Support internal and external audits. Partner with department leaders to improve financial reporting and operational processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 2 years of full-cycle accounting experience required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Experience with ERP/accounting software (Sage Intacct and ServiceTitan experience is a plus). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
