Accountant/Bookkeeper

Benskin Talent Partners is pleased to partner with a well-established manufacturing company in O'Fallon, MO, in their search for an Accountant/Bookkeeper. This is a full-cycle accounting role with real ownership and variety - a great fit for someone who enjoys being the go-to finance person in a close-knit, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, payroll, and financial reporting Process weekly payroll through Paycor Own accurate and timely monthly and year-end close Ensure compliance with current accounting, tax, and payroll laws and regulations Collaborate with the fractional CFO and outside CPA on financial statements and reporting Work across two related entities, including intercompany transactions in QuickBooks Desktop Identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving improvements What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience — a strong accounting foundation is the priority QuickBooks Desktop experience strongly preferred Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite Solid understanding of accounting, payroll, and tax compliance Manufacturing environment experience is a plus Strong communicator who can work effectively with a remote CFO and an on-site team Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and maintain confidentiality Flexible schedule - choose what works for you: 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days In-office during training (approximately 4 months); hybrid potential afterward Our client offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, voluntary life insurance, short- and long-term disability, a voluntary accident policy, and a Healthcare Reimbursement Account (HRA) to help offset deductible costs.
