Digital Content Specialist

GRAND Mental Health is looking for a creative, mission-driven Digital Content Specialist to tell the inspirational stories of the people, programs and communities we serve.


The ideal candidate is excited about the opportunity to execute GRAND's social media presence and bring fresh ideas to increase awareness, strengthen our brand, enhance engagement and drive support for our behavioral health and addiction recovery services. A strong candidate is a curious, compassionate story hunter who understands the power of storytelling and is comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds and sharing their experiences with dignity and respect.

In addition, this role may support broader team initiatives, including company-wide communications, company event coverage and campaign planning.
Key Responsibilities

• Ensure content aligns with GRAND's goals, mission, core values, and brand standards and voice.

• Collaborate with internal teams to uncover meaningful stories.

• Create-or collaborate with teammates to create-engaging, consistent social media content.

• Maintain organized content calendars and scheduling tools.

• Monitor social media performance and recommend methods of improving reach, engagement and impact.

• Stay current on social media trends, best practices and emerging tools.


• Assist with other digital communication initiatives as needed.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related field with two to three years of similar experience.

• Experience working in a healthcare or behavioral health environment a plus.

• Strong organizational, writing and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear, concise, compelling way.

• Experience using platforms like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and Loomly.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Experience balancing planned content with unexpected, time-sensitive updates.
Working conditions

This position is office-based and may require travel to various GRAND locations, community partner sites, and events. Occasional evening and weekend availability is required.
