As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The line cooks will assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all food outlets on the property. Line cooks will also perform other related tasks to food preparation and kitchen sanitation/cleanliness as directed by the Chef/Kitchen Manager. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department. Compensation $16.00 – $20.00 Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements 1–2 years of cooking experience Minimum education: High School (or equivalent) Diploma Experience in managing and upholding a safe working condition Understanding of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures Must be dependable Must be able to work well in a fast‑paced environment Must be able to work in a team environment Must be able to take direction Position Responsibilities Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served Assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager with setup and preparation of food items for all food outlets on the property Carefully follow standard recipes while preparing all assigned items Assist the Chef/Kitchen Manager with conducting a monthly food/supplies inventory Understand how to properly use and maintain the equipment Perform necessary clean‑up and sanitation maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Chef/Kitchen Manager Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils Carry clean dishes to cook’s line and other proper storage areas Help distribute food and supplies throughout the food outlets Cleans food production, holding and serving equipment when needed Assist with product receiving and/or storage of products Full compliance with the Department of Health regulations Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager Benefits & Other Compensation Healthcare Benefits – Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage Retirement Benefits – 401(k) with employer match (19 years of age and older) Time Off – Paid time off (PTO) and leaves of absence, in accordance with applicable law and eligibility criteria Additional Compensation – Eligibility for Bonuses, Commissions, Service Charge, Employee Meals Eligibility for benefits and the specific terms, conditions, and offerings are governed by the applicable plan of documents and company policies, which may be amended at the company’s discretion.
