Controls Installer / Electrician – Miami, FL – $20–$40/hour (DOE) About the Opportunity A rapidly expanding HVAC & Building Automation services provider is seeking Controls Installers / Electricians to support major projects in the Miami metro area.This role offers steady work, excellent benefits, and a clear pathway into advanced BAS and commissioning roleswhile installing and wiring modern Building Automation Systems (BAS) in commercial and mission-critical facilities. Position Details Title: Controls Installer / Electrician Location: Miami, FL Hiring: Entry-Level, Mid-Level, and Senior Installers Pay: $20.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE) Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (role/region dependent) Key Responsibilities Install, mount, wire, and label BAS control panels, relays, controllers, and field devices Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage control cabling in commercial environments Assist technicians and programmers during system startup, checkout, and commissioning Interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and installation documentation Follow OSHA and electrical safety practices while maintaining clean, organized work areas Update redlines/as-builts and document daily installation progress Ideal Candidate Experience as a Controls Installer, Low-Voltage Electrician, or commercial electrical installer Proficiency with conduit work, terminations, labeling, mounting, and panel wiring Familiarity with common BAS components including sensors, actuators, and controllers Ability to use meters, toners, and standard electrical hand tools Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills Valid driver’s license with ability to travel within South Florida What’s Offered Competitive hourly rate: $20.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE) Health (4 plan options), Dental, Vision — benefits begin after 30 days 401(k): 100% match up to 3%, 50% match on 4–5% Flexible Spending, Life, and Disability coverage Vacation and holiday pay Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (based on region/role) Career Growth Pathway into Controls Technician, Commissioning, and BAS Programming positions Opportunities to support major enterprise-level automation projects in South Florida Training and development for long-term career advancement Client Sectors Class A commercial buildings and corporate offices Municipal and education facilities Hospitals, clinics, and mission-critical environments If you’re an ambitious electrical installer looking to enter or grow within the Building Automation industry,this Miami-based opportunity offers steady work, competitive pay, and long-term advancement.
