The Role They're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join the office‑based project team in Waltham and support delivery of large‑scale public building projects across Massachusetts. Working closely with an experienced Project Manager, you'll be involved in the full lifecycle of a project — from preconstruction through closeout — handling the documentation, coordination, and problem‑solving that keeps complex jobs on track. This is a hands‑on role with real exposure. You won't be filing paperwork in a back office — you'll be in the middle of active projects, learning how serious public sector construction gets managed. Responsibilities Assisting the Project Manager with day‑to‑day project administration and coordination Managing subcontractor correspondence, submittals, RFIs, and change orders Tracking schedule, budget, and contract compliance Supporting procurement and scope review during preconstruction Coordinating with field teams, owners, designers, and public agencies Maintaining accurate project documentation throughout all phases Attending project meetings and preparing minutes and follow‑up Compensation & Benefits Base salary $85,000 – $125,000 depending on experience Performance bonus Full health insurance coverage Competitive overall benefits package The Opportunity The company promotes from within and takes a long view on the people they hire.
