Leasing Consultant

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. We pride ourselves on providing a quality living experience for our residents and are seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy individual with strong customer service and resident relations skills.

This position requires previous customer service experience, with prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred. The successful candidate will possess a positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service to prospective and current residents.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with some Saturday hours as needed; schedule to be discussed during the interview process.

The successful Leasing Consultant will :

• Perform activities related to apartment leasing, including providing apartment tours, qualifying prospective residents, preparing documentation, and completing move-in procedures.
• Maintain positive resident relations by providing excellent customer service and participating in resident promotions and functions as required by management.
• Meet with current residents regarding lease renewals and rental rates.
• Represent the property and community in a positive manner while effectively communicating the benefits of the community to prospective residents.
• Proactively participate as a member of the team to accomplish desired results.
• Participate in staff meetings as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Minimum of two years of sales and/or leasing experience or equivalent experience preferred.
• Enthusiastic, high-energy demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills, including timely follow-up.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors, and the general public.
• Ability to follow directives and work with minimal supervision.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Ability to use computers and basic office equipment.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to walk the property, including climbing stairs, multiple times per day.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during tours or events.
• Occasionally lift or carry items up to 25 lbs. (e.g., marketing materials, small packages).
• Comfort working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
