Emergency Department Nurse Manager

Lead and direct nursing practice and clinical functions within the Emergency Department. Develop and implement patient care programs that improve quality and outcomes. Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless care delivery. Manage operational units, including personnel management, fiscal accountability, and operational effectiveness. Promote a culture of safety, quality improvement, and service excellence. Champion change, facilitate redesign, and implement systems and processes to maintain regulatory compliance. Develop and manage budgets for assigned operational departments.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing, Business, or Healthcare required. Minimum of five years of progressive ED nursing leadership experience, including three years in an Emergency Department manager role. Clinical expertise in emergency nursing required. Experience in federal and state regulatory healthcare compliance (e.g., CMS, The Joint Commission, DVN, Department of Health) required. Demonstrated experience achieving Emergency Department quality metrics. Demonstrated success working across functional departments. Previous trauma center experience required. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington. Certification in specialty required within 3 years.
