Tower Industries is seeking a dedicated and collaborative HR Generalist to join our team. We prioritize a thoughtful workflow over a chaotic environment, allowing you to focus on quality and meaningful employee support. Because we operate as a cohesive team, our ideal candidate is a versatile professional who is always willing to step in and assist with other operational roles as needed to ensure collective success. This is a Full or Part-time / hourly position.
Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and/or create employee job descriptions
- Manage recruiting efforts
- Manage employment processes including hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, promotion, transfer, performance evaluations, discipline & corrective action, termination, and exit
- Manage compensation and administer benefits
- Create and distribute employee communications
- Promote employee retention
- Work closely with other managers and department heads to understand staffing needs
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local human resources regulations and programs
- Support cross-functional team needs by actively assisting with other operational roles and tasks as business demands require.
