Our client is a growing behavioral healthcare organization committed to improving lives through compassionate, high-quality care. They are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who thrives in a process-driven environment and enjoys keeping the operational side of HR running efficiently. This is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, ensuring compliance, supporting employees throughout their lifecycle, and creating a seamless employee experience from onboarding through day-to-day HR administration. While this role does not have direct reports, it plays a critical role in managing the organization's HR processes and ensuring compliance within a highly regulated healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

As the Human Resources Generalist, you'll serve as the primary administrator for many of the company's HR functions, including:

• Coordinate and facilitate the onboarding process for all new employees
• Manage employee records and maintain the HRIS for accuracy and compliance
• Administer employee changes, promotions, transfers, and offboarding
• Support payroll preparation through accurate timekeeping and attendance administration
• Monitor compliance with required licenses, certifications, background checks, and employee documentation
• Ensure personnel files remain complete, accurate, and audit-ready
• Assist with benefits administration and employee questions
• Maintain HR policies, forms, and documentation
• Generate HR reports and maintain workforce data
• Partner with leadership on employee relations matters and HR best practices
• Help ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare-specific employment regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, efficiency, and the overall employee experience

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist or HR Operations role
• Strong knowledge of onboarding, employee records management, HRIS administration, and timekeeping
• Experience supporting payroll processes
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
