Commercial Strategy Director - Partners Deal Structuring and Deal Forums (New York)

The commercial strategy team aims to better align price with value, provide a platform to enable growth, create a more secure and stable revenue base and simplify the way we do business via the products we take to market and the Partners we engage with.The Commercial Strategy team is responsible for the commercial terms the business operates under. The team ensures alignment of all products and partner engagements including approval of any non-standard deals with clients and partners.Role summary The successful candidate will manage the Commercial Strategy Partner Deal Structuring team. The key accountability will be to direct the Partner and Redistribution Commercial Strategy deal forums and frameworks that maximizes our revenue growth opportunity and retention across all business lines/products and ensuring that the business and sales operate within a standard set of terms, at different strategic and operational levels. Supporting the sales organization in structuring non-standard partner deals within our business risk tolerance in a compliant manner is the key focus. What you'll be doing:Team management of regional Deal Forums teams which include Partner and Redistribution Deal Forum and Outsource Service Provider ForumLead a regional Partner and Redistribution Deal ForumIncorporate the Artificial Intelligence Deal Forum into the Partner Deal Forum process.Collaborating with team member to drive improvement of the the overall process, including use of Artificial Intelligent to remove manual processes where able and training stakeholder.Responsible for working with non-standard deal terms, balancing the risk verse reward and articulating the commercial terms under which we are willing to contractLeading the operational process criteria for execution of deals approved at the PRDF Leading the communication and training of the deal forum process and execution across the organization Manage integration of new commercial framework rules and policies including the use of Artificial Intelligence at different strategic and operational levelsManage reporting on Partner Deals including a monthly dashboard of approved deals and associated revenue opportunities.Experience:College Degree plus 10 years relevant experience, legal background an advantage.Knowledge of D&A redistribution products, contracts, schedules and usage rightsFamiliarity with D&A big rules and D&A Commercial Policies, Excellent commercial and operational understanding, including a good grasp of business value driversExperience working in a complex, matrix organization and with global high performing teamsGood understanding of the global financial marketsProven ability to think deeply and quantitatively about business problems, providing well balanced assessment and solutions You'll bring:Professional approach with sufficient credibility and experience to gain the respect of internal stakeholdersDriving and managing relationships and teamwork: builds trust, credibility and maintains effective working relationships with a range of people at all levels in the organization, often in virtual teams spread across multiple time zonesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsComfortable presenting and escalating key issues and requests to senior stakeholdersA self-starter with the ability to balance competing priorities and manage time-sensitive projectsService-oriented with the ability to provide fast, accurate support to our internal and external customersProblem solver with good attention to detail and an ability to investigate and understand complex issuesWorking knowledge of Sharepoint and skills required to perform detailed analysis using ExcelDetailed process oriented to support audit requirements of all deals executed through Partner Deal Forums.Legal background working with license grants an advantage. Career Stage:DirectorCompensation/Benefits Information:LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $161,800 - $269,600.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
