If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!Job SummaryParticipates in the development and fulfillment of contract requirements in the purchase or sale/delivery of equipment, materials, products or services | Evaluates contract compliance and advises others on contractual rights and obligations | Requests or approves amendments to contract terms or contract extensions | Prepares bids or requests for proposals (RFPs), including specifications and requirements; negotiates contract terms and participates in the determination of acceptable bidsImpact of the RoleGeneral ProfileRequires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in own job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplinesSolves complex problemsWorks independently, receives minimal guidanceMay lead projects or project steps within a broader project or may have accountability for on-going activities or objectivesActs as a resource for colleagues with less experienceConsistent exercise of discretion & judgmentEssential FunctionsPrepares, examines, negotiates and revises contracts.Ensures contracts are consistent with management's goals, policies, and procedures.Handles the acquisition, distribution, and store of purchases.Assures that all clarifications and amendments of negotiations are incorporated into the final contract.Generates, maintains, and audits a central contract-resource file.Ensures that necessary procedural controls exist.Required QualificationsRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or ExperienceCritical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Finance or Business preferredKnowledge, skills & abilities: Organizational skills. Oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented.
