Our client is seeking Senior Business Analyst in Dallas, TX.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a second Senior Business Analyst to work alongside the incumbent analyst on three things: extending documentation coverage into the remaining Professional Services process estate, keeping the published corpus current as the delivery model, platforms and operating processes change underneath it, and authoring standard operating procedures for delivery leaders who know what good looks like but do not have the capacity to write, validate and publish it.

The role focuses on how Professional Services work is performed today across North America, where processes break down, where pain points and workarounds exist, and what the documented version must say for someone to actually follow it. This includes business processes supported by systems and tools such as ERP, scheduling, contingent workforce, service management and reporting platforms, but the primary focus is Professional Services business process, not technical system ownership or configuration.
• Partner directly with the North America lead and the incumbent Senior Business Analyst on Professional Services business process analysis, documentation and transformation activity
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and working sessions to document how Professional Services work is currently performed across Field Engineering, PMO, Consulting, Revenue Operations and the Resource Management Office
• Gather and review existing process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, business rules, reporting logic and supporting materials
• Produce complete documentation packs to the established standard, including interface specification, SIPOC, process overview, BPMN 2.0 swimlane models and per-actor procedures
• Author standard operating procedures from delivery leader input, then validate them back with the process owner before publication
• Keep the published corpus current as the business changes: identify which documented processes a change affects, and drive the revision through to reissue
• Identify and document pain points, inefficiencies, workarounds, risks, gaps and improvement opportunities specific to North America Professional Services
• Help distinguish between opportunities for standardization and legitimate North America-specific business process needs
• Organize and maintain core analysis artifacts including requirements logs, issue logs, assumptions, decision logs, action trackers and follow-up registers, with clear attribution and status
• Review and correct AI-assisted draft artifacts against source material; the tooling drafts, the analyst is accountable for what is published
• Prepare summaries, readouts, briefing materials and decision-support content for the North America lead
• Track what North America has raised, what has been accepted or rejected, and where additional follow-up is required.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst or Business Process Analyst
• Strong experience documenting current-state processes and gathering business requirements across multiple stakeholders
• Practical BPMN 2.0 modelling experience, including swimlane models with gateways, exception paths and cross-actor handoffs
• Experience authoring standard operating procedures, work instructions or equivalent operational documentation that other people have to follow
• Experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops and process discovery sessions
• Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous environments and create structure, clarity and useful outputs
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex discussions into clear business documentation
• Experience maintaining requirements logs, decision logs, issue trackers and related business analysis artifacts
• Experience supporting enterprise platform transformation involving multiple systems rather than a single application
• Exposure to platforms such as ERP, scheduling and resource management systems, service management tools, contingent workforce platforms and reporting environments
• Strong interview craft: builds trust quickly, hears the question the interviewee has not asked, and gets to what actually happens rather than the official version
• Strong process mapping and workflow documentation skills across BPMN tooling such as bpmn.io, draw.io or Visio
• Able to identify gaps, inconsistencies, contradictions and missing decisions
• Comfortable working across incomplete, outdated or inconsistent documentation
• Able to separate true business requirements from preferences, habits or legacy ways of working
• Clear, economical writing; produces documentation a new joiner can follow without a translator
• Organized, proactive and disciplined in documentation and follow-through; nothing raised is lost, everything closed is attributed
• Ships work in progress rather than holding for polish, and asks scoping questions up front
• Confident working with senior stakeholders while remaining practical and execution-oriented
