Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Operations Analyst to drive operational excellence across our supply chain, procurement, and cost management functions. This role will own end-to-end supply chain operations and play a critical role in improving cost visibility, optimizing vendor performance, and building scalable operational processes.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, hands-on, and capable of translating data into actionable insights that directly impact business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Procurement

• Own and manage end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, vendor management, and inventory planning
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring
• Identify and execute opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement

Financial & Operational Analysis

• Conduct spend analysis and cost modeling across procurement and operational activities
• Track and ensure accurate capture of pass-through costs and operational expenses
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and support financial planning efforts

Data & Reporting

• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track operational performance
• Deliver insights and recommendations to support leadership decision-making
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights

Process Improvement & Systems

• Identify inefficiencies in operational workflows and implement scalable solutions
• Support development of systems and infrastructure to enable business growth

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Finance, Laboratory Operations, and other internal teams to align on operational and cost objectives
• Serve as a key point of contact for supply chain and operational initiatives

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in business operations, supply chain, or related roles
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
• Experience with procurement, vendor management, and cost analysis
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools)
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred

• Experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, or the healthcare industry
• Experience building processes in a fast-paced or early-stage environment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools
• MBA or advanced degree
