Step into a specialized role supporting early learners in a vibrant school community near Des Plaines, IL. This contract opportunity is tailored for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference with PreK and Kindergarten students. The position is part-time, requiring a commitment of 2 to 2.5 days per week, with manageable hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active professional licensure in Illinois (or eligibility)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Proven experience working with young children in educational settings
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to tailor interventions for early childhood developmental stages
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and direct therapy sessions for PreK and Kindergarten students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on speech, language, and communication goals
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to maximize student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningful recommendations to support student needs
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
• Provide consultative support and recommendations for classroom modifications and strategies
