Front Office Team Leader For Fast Fixed Income TeamWe are currently seeking a talented front office team leader for Fast Fixed Income team. The team is responsible for all the option trading activities of FI in the US (rates, fx, credit) and is planned to be implemented for other trading desks (commodities, MBS, LATAM). The application Fast is a thick client developed in Java 25 running on Citrix servers. Fast allows business to visualize their position, market data and risk, submit pricing requests and new trades. This is a very rich functional and technical environment.Candidates are measured on the following four performance drivers, which will dictate how individual impact is considered on the Americas platform:Results and Impact Able to influence peers and team.Demonstrates good judgement when making decisions of high complexity and impact.Exercise appropriate autonomy in the execution and delivery of work.Responsible for driving outcomes, which have meaningful effect on team or department.Leadership and Collaboration Creates trust with colleagues.Acts in leadership capacity for projects, processes, or programs.Client, Customer and Stakeholder Focus Able to build relationships with a mix of colleagues and clients.Interacts regularly with management and department leaders.Demonstrates the ability to influence stakeholders at the team level.Compliance Culture and Conduct Takes full responsibility for personal actions and demonstrates courage in facing problems and conflicts.Perceived as a person of high moral character; upholds corporate values and displays high ethical standards.Responsibilities:Support Fixed Income business and ensure Fast team lead role in the team:Team management of Fast FI AMER teamRoll out of Fast to new trading desks (commodities, MBS, LATAM)Ensure development and support of Rates, FX, Credit options trading desk in FastDevelopment of new functionality in Fast setupsImprovement of the surrounding ecosystems (monitoring tools, infra, devops etc..)Minimum Required Qualifications:Master degree in computer scienceMinimum 5 years' experience in investment banking ITExpert knowledge of Java developmentStrong knowledge of the Fixed Income businessStrong analytic and problem solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Motivated to work under own initiative whilst being a team player.The expected starting salary range for this position is between $140,000 to $210,000 annually.
