Director, WW Autoimmune Cell Therapy Medical Affairs

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Director of Worldwide Autoimmune Cell Therapy Medical Affairs to lead medical strategy for early-stage CAR-T assets in development. The role involves cross-functional collaboration with clinical, commercial, and market access teams to advance programs through key milestones, manage external scientific engagement, and integrate patient perspectives into strategy. Requires an advanced degree in a scientific or medical field and 5+ years of pharma/biopharma or clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute worldwide autoimmune cell therapy medical affairs strategy for early assets
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Development, Commercial, Market Access, and HEOR teams
- Plan and execute external scientific engagement including advisory boards and clinical forums
- Support medical education initiatives addressing clinical practice needs in autoimmune disease management
- Partner on evidence generation plans and incorporate patient perspectives into medical strategy
Requirements
- Advanced degree: MD, DO, NP, PA, PharmD, or PhD
- Minimum 5+ years pharma/biopharma or clinical practice experience
- Deep knowledge of drug development and healthcare industry
- Strong leadership in matrix environments with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Complex problem-solving and prioritization abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 25% globally
Compensation: $207,490 - $251,433 base
