Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven Quality Manager to join our client’s team near Ann Arbor, MI. This is a fully on-site position working standard daytime plant hours. In this role, you will oversee quality assurance and control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. What You Will Be Doing Lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control processes within the plant Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures in alignment with ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14000, and internal QMS requirements Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards Oversee and support AIAG core tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and overall customer satisfaction Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and production Manage and mentor quality team members while fostering a strong quality culture Support customer interactions related to quality issues, audits, and corrective actions What We Need From You Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field (flexible) 3+ years of leadership experience in a Quality Manager role 3+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing environments Strong knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO9001 standards Experience with AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) Strong computer skills including MS Office and ERP systems The Perks Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage Generous PTO package Opportunity to work closely with engaged leadership and influence plant-wide improvements Strong growth potential within a steadily expanding organization StaffBright – Who We Are StaffBright connects exceptional professionals with fulfilling opportunities in Finance, IT, Engineering, and Sales & Marketing.
