Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients’ physical conditions to recommend appropriate orthopedic treatment plans.
• Develop individualized physical therapy interventions that focus on restoring mobility, relieving pain, and preventing disability.
• Administer hands-on therapy, including therapeutic exercises, traction, and massage, to facilitate recovery.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing care plans and deliver targeted therapeutic interventions.
• Utilize diagnostic assessments to continuously monitor and evaluate clients’ progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Document clinical evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries meticulously to maintain comprehensive records.
• Assess patients’ home environments and provide recommendations that improve accessibility and enhance rehabilitation efforts.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration by participating in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to a holistic treatment approach.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to educate them about therapy programs and device usage.
• Maintain timely submission of clinical documentation in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient base consists primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as a physical therapist in an acute care or rehabilitative setting.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic treatment methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation facility is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation, tracking patient progress, and submitting invoices.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor other clinical staff effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The offered salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
