Job Title Clinical Research Assistant 2 Department Medicine | Neurology Job Summary Assist in the implementation and coordination of clinical research studies for the Department of Neurology/Division of Cognitive Neurology, with oversight from the College of Medicine Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM). Participate in recruitment, perform behavioral or diagnostic testing, and support the collection, maintenance, and reporting of clinical research data. Responsibilities Assist with the implementation and coordination of studies. Participate in the recruitment of study participants. Perform behavioral or diagnostic testing as required. Assist with the collection, maintenance, and reporting of clinical research data. Other duties as may be assigned by the research coordinator or principal investigator. Qualifications Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, health sciences, medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. No prior experience required; however, 2-4 years of research experience is preferred. Preferred experience includes knowledge of cognitive medicine, cognitive testing, phlebotomy, basic laboratory procedures for processing biological specimens, and computer skills with database software applications. Additional Information Patient‑facing position that requires on‑site presence. Travel may be required to other outpatient locations affiliated with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Location: Kenny Rd, 2006-2030 (0214), within the Columbus metropolitan area (including Dublin, New Albany, Powell, Outpatient Care East, East Hospital). Position type: Term (Fixed Term) Scheduled hours: 40 per week; shift: First Shift Background check required for final candidates. Drug screening or physical exam may be required during the post‑offer process.
