Urologist Needed | Ongoing Weekend Coverage | JanuaryApril 2027

Protean Med is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for weekend call coverage at a Level III trauma hospital in Pueblo, Colorado.

Location: Pueblo, Colorado

Position Type: Locum Tenens

Coverage Period: January 25 April 30, 2027

Schedule: Every Friday at 7:00 AM through Monday at 7:00 AM

Setting: Inpatient, Emergency Department, and Call

EMR: Epic

Position Highlights

• General urology procedures for adult and pediatric patients
• Advanced endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures
• Ureteroscopy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy
• Cystectomy, biopsies, and incontinence management
• Fully supported hospital with onsite anesthesia, RNs, and APPs
• Average callback: 45 hours per 24-hour call shift

Requirements

• Board Certified in Urology
• Active Colorado medical license or active IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand
• BLS and DEA preferred; required for credentialing
• Ability to perform all required procedures
• Clean malpractice and background history
• Must commit to the full Friday-to-Monday coverage period
• Availability dates and number of shifts per month must be provided
