Company Description We are Orange County’s premier boutique Yoga and Pilates studio, located on Pacific Coast Highway in the heart of Newport Beach. Our space features custom Project X Pilates reformers, a 1200 sq ft yoga room, and amenities designed to support an active, wellness-focused lifestyle. We offer a curated retail boutique with activewear and unique lifestyle products, along with an alkaline water station, organic hot tea bar, and locally brewed kombucha on tap. The studio hosts workshops and a variety of classes and provides showers, lockers, and ample parking to create a convenient and welcoming experience for guests. Role Description The Front Desk Staff role is a part-time, on-site position based in Newport Beach, CA. This role is responsible for greeting guests, checking clients in and out of classes, answering phones, and responding to inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. Daily tasks include managing class bookings and client accounts through studio software, processing payments, and maintaining an organized and clean lobby and retail area. The Front Desk Staff supports sales of memberships and retail items, provides information about studio services, and collaborates with instructors and management to ensure smooth studio operations and a positive client experience. Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, or special events may be required based on studio needs. Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and professionally with diverse clients. Experience with receptionist duties and phone etiquette, including handling inquiries, scheduling, and message taking. Basic computer literacy and comfort using scheduling, point-of-sale, and email systems. Reliable, punctual, and organized, with attention to detail in handling cash, bookings, and client information. Interest in yoga, Pilates, or wellness environments is preferred; prior studio, fitness, or hospitality experience is a plus.
