School Speech Language Pathologist - Roxbury, Massachusetts

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide services during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. This position offers a focused, summer-term role supporting K-12 students. Location: Roxbury, MA Duration: July 6, 2025 – August 7, 2025 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6 hours per day (30 hours per week) Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with educators and support staff to assess and support student communication needs Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to specific student goals and requirements during ESY Maintain accurate documentation consistent with regulatory and district standards Adhere to established safety protocols and support a positive learning environment Qualifications And Preferred Skills Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC certification Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with K-12 populations Ability to design and implement effective therapy plans for diverse communication disorders Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and families Safe Care Certification preferred but not required Benefits of this role include structured working hours within a supportive educational environment and experience enhancing the skills and lives of students during the critical summer session.
