Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone coming out of public accounting who is looking to transition into a more operational, business-facing role while continuing to build on strong technical accounting skills.
Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and overall accounting operations. This individual will work cross-functionally with leadership and contribute to process improvements, analysis, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

• Own key aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process
• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Support budget and forecasting processes
• Partner with internal teams to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
• Assist with external audit requests and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 3-6 years of accounting experience, ideally in public accounting or a public/private blend
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
