Schedule: Monday–Thursday or Friday-Sunday
Pay: $23.50–$24.00/hour, depending on experience
Project Length: October 17 through August 31
Interview: Required

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to support warehouse receiving and shipping operations. This position will utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to coordinate receiving activities, maintain accurate shipment records, prepare documentation, and communicate effectively with carriers, customers, operations, and management.

Key Responsibilities

Validate and record inbound and outbound data manually and through WMS.
Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Prepare and generate pick lists, packing lists, and other shipping/receiving documentation.
Recover and maintain Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
Communicate effectively with carriers, customers, operations teams, and management.
Perform clerical duties, including filing, phone calls, radio communication, and data entry.
Verify and receive products into inventory.
Direct yard and commercial drivers to the appropriate dock doors or parking locations based on inbound and outbound schedules.
Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all receiving and dispatch documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of order entry systems and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Previous customer service experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
