Job Type: 100% On-site
Pay range: $21.33/-hr on W2.
Position Overview:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Representative to support the Credit Department in reviewing, managing, and resolving credit related account issues.
• This role is essential to minimizing arrears, reducing write-offs, and ensuring compliance with credit policies, administrative rules, and regulatory standards.
• The Credit Representative will interact with customers, internal teams, and external agencies to effectively resolve escalated credit situations and maintain accurate account records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and take appropriate action on past due active and final accounts.
• Handle escalated customer contacts related to credit issues with professionalism and accuracy.
• Conduct credit review workflow exceptions in the customer service system (e.g., disconnection reviews, balance transfers, unpaid non-service items).
• Communicate with property owners, external agencies, and vendors regarding account status and collections.
• Notify and follow up with customers on final bills, payment arrangements, and balance transfers.
• Interpret and apply credit policies, tariffs, administrative rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Document and maintain accurate customer account records in the customer information system.
• Perform additional credit-related responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous call centre, credit and collection experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively handle difficult customer issues.
