About the Company We are hiring on behalf of a premier U.S. telecommunications systems integrator and engineering firm with a central accounting function based in Charlotte, NC. The organization specializes in the design and deployment of mission‑critical wireless infrastructure, ranging from private 5G networks to large‑scale distributed antenna systems. They provide end‑to‑end connectivity solutions for essential environments including healthcare facilities, government institutions, and major commercial venues nationwide. About You Education & Experience: You hold at least an Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (Bachelor’s preferred) and possess 3+ years of professional accounting experience. Technical Proficiency: You are comfortable with MS Excel (creating formulas) and accounting software; experience with Vista or AccountEdge is a significant plus. Industry: You have a background in construction Soft Skills: You are a self‑motivated professional who enjoys a transparent, team‑oriented environment and possesses strong attention to detail and math aptitude. What You’ll Do Financial Operations: Assist with day‑to‑day accounting, record journal entries, and perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Audit & Compliance: Support external auditor requests, perform weekly internal audits of AP/AR aging reports, and conduct quarterly audits of sales tax exemption certificates. General Ledger Maintenance: Manage Balance Sheet account reconciliations and maintain vital supporting schedules for annual audits. Reporting & Analysis: Perform monthly reviews of expense accounts, internal jobs, and outstanding purchase orders while recommending procedural changes to improve efficiency.
