Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care experience License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Excellent physical assessment and documentation skills Experience caring for acute care stroke patients Time management skills Well-developed critical thinking skills Well-established A.I.D.E.T behaviors Knowledge of core measures and prevention of HACs, HAIs Chemo experience is a plus Description: This role is for a telemetry nurse in a progressive care environment. The unit has a total of 31 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and technicians available on all shifts. Documentation is managed through the Meditech system. The position requires 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and floating to other units as necessary. Candidates should be familiar with patient experience requirements and have a solid foundation in acute care settings. Responsibilities include providing high-quality, efficient care and ensuring safety and respect for all patients. Block scheduling is available to enhance work-life balance. Communication is facilitated through mobile devices for seamless collaboration. Computers and scanners are located in every room for efficient documentation. The team is comprised of a core group of very experienced staff on each shift.
