Manufacturing Technician II - PET (Dayshift)

The Manufacturing TechnicianII reports to a Process Execution Team (PET) Supervisor/Manager on the Manufacturing floor, supporting Filling operations. This position requires working in various Controlled/Non‑Classified and Classified areas. The Filling Technician operates equipment, performs in‑process monitoring, line clearances, OEE data collection, cosmetic inspection, cleaning and completes batch record entries in accordance with cGMPs. This is a day‑shift position from 6:00AM – 6:30PM. Responsibilities Operate assigned machinery: service filling machines, remove finished materials, and ensure a smooth product flow. Assemble, disassemble, operate and sanitize various filling equipment. Perform filter integrity testing per SOP. Conduct cleaning and housekeeping activities to maintain a cGMP environment. Start up machines and make minor adjustments; input data on SCADA/HMI systems. Make visual and physical checks of in‑process and finished materials. Work with printing devices, including printing mats. Execute batch record and GMP documentation entries; maintain records and logs. Perform necessary mathematical computations. Apply product security controls and manage material handling equipment. Maintain outgoing quality level and understand aseptic behaviours, media fills, and line interventions. Use SAP for inventory control and reconciliation. Work in accordance with SOPs, cGMPs, OSHA, and safety procedures; be familiar with MSDS and safety protocols. Report discrepancies to the process facilitator. Assist mechanical staff with preventive maintenance procedures. Support lean activities: 5S, Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), problem‑solving, and manual tracking of OEE and process‑improvement data. Execute Validation/Engineering protocols for processes/equipment. Identify and provide suggestions for process improvement while maintaining quality and cGMP compliance. Provide training and support to other filling functions when needed. Perform all other assigned duties with minimal supervision. Acquire and maintain all required certification and qualifications for the assigned work area. Adapt to a changing/demanding environment and work effectively in a team. Be available for some overtime with minimal advance notice to support business needs. Minimum Qualifications Proficiency in reading, writing, communicating, and following instructions in English. Attention to detail. Accurate record keeping and mathematical calculation skills. Preferred Qualifications High school graduate, vocational school graduate, or equivalent. Prior production experience. Experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP‑regulated environment. Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment. Knowledge of cGMPs and FDA policies/procedures.
