Our team is that fourth option. Based directly on the 911 call center floor, we provide immediate mental health triage and assessment to ensure callers receive a compassionate, clinical response. Our primary goal is deflection-identifying the right resources and services to prevent unnecessary police response or EMS dispatch. The Role & Environment: This position operates within a high-impact, variable-pace environment. While there is downtime, this role requires the ability to shift into "high gear" the moment a call is transferred. 911 Call Intercept: Receive direct transfers from 911 call takers to provide immediate clinical screening and crisis support. Complex Multitasking: Manage multiple software systems simultaneously-navigating 911 dispatch technology and electronic health records while remaining present with the caller. Ensuring a Safer Response: Provide clinical support during higher-intensity situations where police are responding, helping to ensure a safer and more informed outcome for the community.
