Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a travel contract in the South Denver area, requiring a minimum of 6 months of acute care Cath Lab experience along with ARRT, RCIS or RCES, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• 272-bed hospital with 2 Cath suites staffed by 5 Techs and 6 RNs
• Phillips equipment used in both suites
• EMR systems include Meditech and Mac Lab
• Day shift staffed by 35 Techs and 24 RNs; night shift is on-call
• On-call requirement of approximately 78 days per month, including one weekend per month
• Rotating nights of call and weekends are required

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Cath Lab Tech experience within the last 6 months
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
• ARRT (R) required
• RCIS or RCES required
• Candidates holding RCIS or RCES must be willing and able to apply for registration as a Fluoroscopy Operator in Colorado with DORA prior to starting
• ARRT (CI) or (CV) preferred
• EP scrubbing experience preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Procedures include basic Cath Lab skills, scrubbing, monitoring, and Conscious Moderate Sedation
• EP scrubbing experience is a plus and candidates with this skill will be prioritized
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• The facility is located in the South Denver area, with nearby communities including Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Parker, and Castle Rock all within a 30-minute call response range
• Team is described as experienced, collaborative, and fun strong communication skills and the ability to manage stressful situations are valued
