Work Environment

This role is conducted onsite, allowing for face-to-face interactions with patients in a dynamic outpatient setting. You will typically work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. The clinic is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and rehabilitation tools that enhance treatment execution, including therapy equipment specifically tailored for orthopedic recovery. Our approach allows for personalized therapy sessions and ensures comprehensive patient involvement throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient goals and requirements through initial evaluations, ensuring that treatments align with individual needs.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, dedicating quality time to each individual—typically one patient per hour—to provide focused attention and customized treatment.
• Utilize hand-on techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional movement training to assist patients in regaining mobility.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate diverse therapeutic strategies, aiming for optimal functional outcomes and reduced reliance on medications or invasive procedures.
• Design and implement personalized fitness and wellness programs, motivating patients to adopt healthier lifestyles that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Document patient care services thoroughly, tracking progress and evaluating outcomes to ensure that all interventions are effective and meet professional standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate openly with patients about their treatment plans, progress, and any adjustments needed to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on orthopedic rehabilitation, working with a diverse patient population experiencing musculoskeletal issues. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, your role will directly impact patient recovery trajectories and their return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctorate with a focus on physical therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, free of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Experience in developing and implementing effective exercise rehabilitation protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is highly advantageous.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with a varied patient demographic, implementing both treatment and wellness programs.
• Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits

Pro Elite Physical Therapy Clinic offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $150,000 to $180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits include:
