Human Resources Director

An iconic global confectionery and food manufacturing brand—currently undergoing an exciting business transformation backed by private equity investment—is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Director to join our leadership team in the Greater Seattle area.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the HR Director will lead strategic HR initiatives and serve as a key partner to executive leadership, driving cost-efficiencies, managing organizational transitions, and refining internal operations to support sustainable long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizational Design & Change Management : Drive strategic change management initiatives and organizational design, systematically evaluating talent and restructuring roles to optimize workforce productivity and align cross-functional teams with business transformation goals.
- Strategic HR Leadership & Budgeting: Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with business unit profitability objectives. Establish vendor performance metrics and maintain departmental budgets.
- Employee Benefits Optimization: Direct all company retirement, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability programs. Partner with brokers and partners to evaluate options and implement cost-effective, high-value program structures.
- Vendor Implementation & Transitions: Lead complex vendor transitions from discovery through post-implementation review. Ensure seamless data migration, system integrations, and clear change management across all departments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive HR experience with proven expertise in benefits administration, HR technology, and vendor negotiations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Skills: Strong financial acumen, project management, and relationship-building abilities. Demonstrated track record of optimizing vendor contracts and driving organizational efficiency.
- Location: Must be able to work 100% onsite at our flagship manufacturing facility in the Greater Seattle area.
