Account Manager, Life Sciences (Houston, Louisiana)

QIAGEN

QIAGEN seeks an Account Manager to build and maintain relationships with life science research customers in South Houston and Louisiana. The role involves selling QIAGEN's molecular biology products and services while developing strategic accounts across academia and industry.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategy for assigned key accounts in life science research
Build and maintain customer relationships across academic and industrial organizations
Position and sell QIAGEN's full product portfolio to research laboratories
Spend 80%+ of time in field conducting customer visits and meetings
Collaborate internally with supply chain, manufacturing, and technical support teams

Requirements

3+ years of direct life sciences sales experience with proven track record
Bachelor of Science degree minimum; graduate degree preferred
Technical expertise in sample purification, PCR, dPCR, and next-generation sequencing
Demonstrated ability to sell and build relationships at senior organizational levels
3+ years of laboratory experience preferred
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel with overnight stays
Must be based in South Houston and Louisiana territory

Compensation: $100,000-$130,000 base salary plus commission
