Lead Medical Assistant - Bilingual Preferred Department: Clinic Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: 2810 W Charleston Blvd, Suite E48, Las Vegas, NV 89102 Reporting To: Shaira Zamora Contreras Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 / hour Description About the Role We are currently seeking a highly motivated Medical Assistant to assist our medical providers. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical clinic. The position supports both providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. This role will report to our Regional Clinic Manager and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry. Our Values: Put Patients First Empower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care Teams Operate with Integrity & Excellence Be Innovative Work As One Team What You'll Do Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a provider Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records Clinical duties may include, such as preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chart Interviews patients to obtain their medical history Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment Good verbal and written communication skills Be able to prioritize workload while remaining flexible May be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlines Additional duties as assigned Qualifications At least 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant in a fast paced clinical environment Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Front office experience in a fast paced clinical environment Display knowledge of medical terminology Possess excellent customer service skills Maintain a high level of professionalism Proficient in MS Office and patient management software Previous experience in phlebotomy or laboratory work preferred Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions This is an onsite position located at 2810 W Charleston Blvd, Suite E48, Las Vegas, NV 89102 The total compensation target range for this role is: $21- $25 per hour.
