Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification appropriate for the state of New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience working with diverse populations in K-12 educational settings
• Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Ability to adapt to a variety of school cultures and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel between schools within the district to provide direct instruction and specialized support for students with IEPs
• Conduct assessments and contribute to the development and monitoring of individualized education plans
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators to ensure student success
• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure all services are delivered in line with state and federal regulations
• Act as a resource for staff and families regarding best practices in special education
