Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Acute Care (Travel or Local Contract)
Location: Tucson, AZ
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: Up to $58.00/hour

Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team on a 13-week contract at a leading Acute Care Hospital in beautiful Tucson, Arizona . This is a fantastic opportunity for both local and travel therapists looking to expand their experience in a dynamic clinical environment while enjoying the vibrant culture, desert landscapes, and warm climate of Tucson.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to acute care patients with a wide variety of medical diagnoses.

• Conduct evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

• Document all patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff regarding progress, care plans, and discharge planning.

• Maintain compliance with all state licensing and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain).

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred.

• Current BLS certification.

• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
