This Legal Assistant/Paralegal position provides dynamic support to a small, well-established 35+year concierge firm providing a diverse range of legal services to a select number of, highly- successful long-term clients. Daily, weekly and long-term tasks are dynamic, interesting and involve municipal and private construction projects, real estate acquisition, financing, development and/or closings. Additional periodic responsibilities include calendaring/coordinatizing activities and deadlines in commercial litigation/arbitrations matters. Document preparation, client communication, preparing/proofing court filings and client communication will be required. Flexible, hybrid work hours (Remote & In-Office) are possible and the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to perform and completed assignments on-time and with a high-degree of independence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and draft legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail
• Communicate directly with clients to provide updates and gather information
• Organize and file case materials and legal documentation efficiently
• Manage court filings and support trial preparation activities
• Coordinate schedules and manage correspondence, calls, and messages
• Assemble and proof-read complex legal documents.
• Manage calls and prepare follow-up e-mails.
• Reliable performance of assigned responsibilities within required time frames.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated positive attitude and strong desire to learn
• Proficient in document drafting and client communication
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and standard office software

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in legal assistant
• Florida Notary certification is helpful
