If you need assistance with this or any other matter, please contact us at View email address on click.appcast.io**The Office of Student Advocacy and Support** is seeking a motivated, compassionate, and detail-oriented Student Worker to assist in delivering critical resources to students in need, including supporting the operations of the Lion Food Pantry and Lion Wardrobe.This position is ideal for a student passionate about social services, advocacy, and helping others. The Student Worker will play an essential role in ensuring our resources are accessible, organized, and effectively communicated to the campus community.The student is expected to support Student Advocacy and Support initiatives and team as needed as well as greeting, assisting, and providing compassionate support to students visiting the Lion Food Pantry, Lion Wardrobe and Student Advocacy.**Student Worker-Student Advocacy and Support****On-Campus Student Employment*** Maintain and organize inventory for both the pantry and wardrobe, ensuring items are stocked, clean, and accessible.* Track usage, monitor inventory levels, and help identify high-demand items.* Assist with food and clothing donation drives, from collection to sorting and storage.* Support promotional efforts by creating flyers, social media posts, and outreach materials.* Provide front-desk support, answering questions and directing students to resources.* Help with administrative tasks like data entry and maintaining accurate records.* Participate in outreach events and presentations to increase awareness of available resources.All positions are security-sensitive. These roles help students gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.* May work up to 19 hours per week while classes are in session* May work full-time during breaks and summer if enrolled for the upcoming fall* Must not work during scheduled class times* Open to all actively enrolled students regardless of financial aid status* Students do not need to be enrolled during summer if they plan to return in the fall### Federal and State Work-Study StudentsWork-study positions are need-based jobs funded through federal or state financial aid programs and allow students to earn money to help pay for educational expenses.* Must be awarded federal or state work-study through Financial Aid* May work up to 19 hours per week during the semester* May work full-time during breaks and summer if returning in the fall* Must not work during scheduled class times* Positions are limited to the amount awarded and must follow program guidelines### Graduate Assistants (GAT, GAR, GANT, GAToR)Graduate assistantships offer opportunities to teach, conduct research, or assist in academic departments while continuing your graduate education.To qualify, students must:* Be fully admitted to a graduate program (not provisional or non-degree)* Be in good standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA* Be enrolled in courses each term of the assistantship* Meet specific credit hour and subject requirements for teaching or lab roles* Non-native English speakers must demonstrate language proficiency* Research assistants must complete Responsible Conduct in Research training* Work up to 20 hours per week, depending on the appointment* May have teaching or research assignments, or provide administrative supportFor additional assistance or questions regarding your job application, please email View email address on click.appcast.io.
