Health Information Clerk: Chart Scanning & Records Care
LifePoint Health
UP Health System - Portage is seeking a Health Information Management Clerk to ensure ER charts have EMS reports attached promptly and to assist customers at the window. You will prep charts for scanning, perform scanning and quality checks, maintain HIPAA standards, and route department calls while reviewing records and patient portal requests.
The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a hospital
