Details LDRP unit with 10 LDR rooms, 3 triage bays, and 2 OR suites Unit staffed with approximately 30 RNs including charge, LDR, and nursery roles on both day and night shifts Patient ratio of 2 laboring patients to 1 RN Performs procedures including inductions, C-sections, and SVDs Uses GE fetal monitoring, Novii wireless monitoring, Spectrum IV pumps, and CADD epidural PCA equipment Utilizes Meditech EMR Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Requirements Active VA or compact RN license BLS certification required NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required, Advanced 9th Edition Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required for L&D placement ACLS certification preferred Intermediate Fetal Monitoring experience preferred Minimum 1 year of recent L&D specialty experience required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Join a team of highly engaged, friendly nurses with a strong mix of experienced and newer staff OR scrubs required for OR area of the unit Team known for strong communication and a positive, collaborative culture Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted) One professional reference required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-749809.
