NURSING ASST (CERT) -SUBACUTE

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Subacute Full-time position located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA. Responsibilities Reporting to the Director, the mental health worker/certified nurse assistant will assist in the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health of patients assigned to his/her care. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (ADL), promoting wellness and health education, and clearly documenting patient activities. Responsible for adult and geriatric patient personal hygiene, ADL, vital signs, application of ice bags, K-Pads, assisting patient with towel and washcloth (TC) and dental brush (DB), and use of incentive spirometer. Provide a safe and comfortable environment for the patients and offer emotional support while documenting interventions. Qualifications Must have current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
