Job Summary - Non-Skilled Home Care Services

Provides various personal care and related paraprofessional services in accordance with an established plan of care. Provides for the personal needs and comfort of clients in their homes.

Essential Functions

Transferring client with a Hoyer Lift

• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation
• Eating
• Dressing
• Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to): Assisting with the change of ostomy appliances, Reinforcement of dressings, Medication reminders, Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises, Measuring and preparing special diets, Taking vital signs, Incontinence care

Service Areas: Lake Nona, Meadow Woods, St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Poinciana, Reunion, Championsgate, Celebration and Four Corners

Qualifications

Valid HHA Certificate or CNA License

Current CPR Certificate

Level II Background Check

Hoyer Lift experience

Valid Driver License

Reliable Car

Active Car Insurance

Pre-Employment Drug Screening: All candidates who are selected to move forward in the hiring process will be required to complete a pre-employment drug screening. Employment is contingent upon receiving a negative drug test result. A position will not be offered, or an offer may be withdrawn, if the required screening result is not negative.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Medical Specialties: Home Health

Schedule: 4-8 hour shift, Holidays, Monday to Friday, Night shift, Overnight shift, Overtime, Weekend availability

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Must have Hoyer Lift experience, Home Health Care: 1 year (Preferred)
