Litigation Paralegal

LHH is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support a busy insurance defense practice in Orlando, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys on complex litigation matters while contributing to a collaborative and professional team environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple cases in a fast-paced setting. Experience handling medical malpractice defense matters is highly desirable. Responsibilities Manage litigation files from inception through resolution. Draft and assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal correspondence. Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics. Organize and maintain case files, deadlines, and court calendars. Analyze and summarize medical records, expert reports, and deposition transcripts. Assist with discovery management, document review, and production. Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Support attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy initiatives. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience within insurance defense. Background supporting medical malpractice defense cases preferred. Strong understanding of Florida litigation procedures and court rules. Experience preparing cases for trial. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with attorneys and staff. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
