Field Manager - Janitorial Services Salary: 50,000 USD per year Shift: Monday – Friday (some weekends), primarily 2nd shift Overview 4M is growing and that means we need to grow our family of Team Members. Job Description Oversee management at accounts in the assigned area, support achievement of the annual corporate profit goal, meet and exceed area’s annual revenue and profit goal, achieve account retention, establish long‑term relationships with the customers, and maintain a safe work environment. Field Manager oversees daily cleaning operations across multiple job sites within a defined area, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and client satisfaction by leading frontline janitorial teams, conducting site inspections, and managing supplies and schedules. Supervision and Management Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff activities, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring. Train and mentor staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company standards. Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback and coaching. Address employee concerns and resolve issues promptly. Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Schedule staff shifts and approve timecards or attendance records. Address client concerns and ensure service delivery meets expectations. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure proper equipment usage. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Report site performance and staffing needs to the District Manager. Assist with onboarding and performance evaluations of janitorial staff. Respond to emergency clean‑ups or last‑minute schedule changes. Operations and Quality Control Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent and effective services. Inspect cleaned areas to ensure they meet quality standards and client expectations. Identify areas for improvement in cleaning processes and implement solutions. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements. Ensure compliance with contract specifications. Manage P&L responsibilities. Customer Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and customers regarding cleaning services. Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Administrative Tasks Complete necessary paperwork and reports related to cleaning operations. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as payroll and scheduling. May be responsible for hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Supervisory Responsibility Support Account Managers, supervisors, and general cleaners. Required Education and Experience Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in the janitorial industry or a related field. 5 years of janitorial management experience.
