Job Summary The Gift Shop Clerk is responsible for facilitating a high level of morale and cooperation in the store and promotes quality services and customer satisfaction. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Responds to customer and phone inquiries. Cleans and maintains the sales areas which includes stocking of products. Records cash and charge sales using point-of-sale cash register. Processes the return of merchandise in accordance with store policy. Keeps store aisles clear and open to prevent accidents. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School graduate or GED, required. Excellent people skills, required. The ability to read, write and communicate clearly and to use fundamental mathematical skills is required. Individual must be able to work independently.
