Accounts Receivable Analyst

What You'll Do

• Own the AR aging and drive collection of past-due balances through proactive customer outreach
• Post and apply daily cash receipts, wires, and credit card payments; perform daily cash reconciliation - Research and resolve short payments, chargebacks, and customer deductions, partnering with sales, customer service, and operations to gather backup
• Identify invalid or unauthorized deductions and recover amounts owed
• Reconcile the AR subledger to the general ledger and support month-end close
• Prepare customer statements and handle billing inquiries
• Recommend and help implement improvements to credit and collections processes

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of accounts receivable, credit, and/or collections experience
• Solid grasp of core accounting principles and the AR-to-GL relationship
• Strong Excel skills
• Confident, professional communicator who can negotiate with customers and keep relationships positive
• Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently under deadlines
