Talent Acquisition Intern

Kratos Defense is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Intern to support our recruiting and HR operations in-person during a 3-month summer internship. This role is ideal for students or early career professionals interested in gaining hands-on experience in technical recruiting, workforce planning, and the defense & aerospace industry. You will work closely with our Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams to support full cycle hiring activities across multiple programs and business units. Pay Range: $20 - $23 per hour
Job ID: (optional placeholder) Key Responsibilities • Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers, and technical teams
• Communicate with candidates to provide updates, schedule interviews, and ensure a positive experience
• Help organize recruiting metrics, applicant tracking system updates, and weekly reporting
• Participate in preparing for career events
• Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition team members on special projects and process improvements
• Learn core principles of recruiting compliance, documentation, and hiring best practices within a defense?focused environment
• Perform administrative and project-based tasks to support the overall TA function Why Kratos Defense

You will gain real experience supporting technical hiring teams, interacting with candidates and hiring managers, and contributing to meaningful recruiting initiatives that support national security programs. • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or related field
• Strong interest in talent acquisition, HR operations, or recruiting in a technical/engineering environment
• Excellent communication, organization, and time?management skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
• U.S. citizenship (required for work with defense programs) Preferred Skills
• Prior internship or campus experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support
• Familiarity with corporate HR systems, applicant tracking tools, or scheduling platforms
• Interest in defense, aerospace, engineering, or technology fields
• Strong problem?solving skills and a customer-service mindset #LI-Onsite
The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Competitive salary based on experience and education
