Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of ICU patients using the nursing process and established standards of care.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, manage lines and devices, and provide ventilator support as indicated.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments, develop and adjust plans of care, and document outcomes accurately.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and escalate to the medical team as needed; participate in rapid response when appropriate.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff, coordinating care with other disciplines.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, case management, and other team members to ensure safe, comprehensive care and seamless patient transitions.

Requirements
- Current, active RN license in California (CA)
- ICU nursing experience or recent ICU clinical practice preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS certification preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to travel assignment schedules
- Strong critical thinking, documentation, and communication skills
- Capability to work effectively within a high-acuity ICU setting and across interdisciplinary teams
