Travel Acute Care Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Sonora, California. Shift: 3x12-hour nights. Weekly pay: $1,938 to $2,072. This role delivers coordinated nursing care in an acute care emergency department, supervising nursing staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to treat trauma and emergency patients of all ages.
Weekly pay: $1,938–$2,072 per week

• Contract duration: Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts
• Emergency Department in an acute care environment
• Travel assignment with dedicated recruiter and ongoing support

Deliver direct nursing care for ED patients according to the nursing process and established standards of care

• Perform triage, initial assessment, monitoring, interventions, and ongoing evaluation for trauma and emergency patients
• Administer medications and therapies; document care in the electronic health record
• Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other disciplines
• participate in handoffs, transport, and discharge planning; uphold patient safety and infection control practices

Current, active California RN license

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience: ER or acute care nursing experience preferred; Ability to work nights in a fast-paced emergency department and to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team
